Eimear specialises in political communication, reputation management and research, advising clients from a range of sectors including healthcare, technology, finance and education.
With over 12 years’ experience as a Parliamentary Advisor in the Irish Parliament, she has invaluable insights into the workings of the Irish political and legislative systems from across the political spectrum. Eimear is a capable communicator with strong research, public affairs, speech writing and relationship-building skills. She has been directly involved in three general election campaigns, has co-authored an Oireachtas Committee Report and organised a number of events. She has extensive experience of advising and working directly with parliamentarians, ministers, civil servants and her counterparts in the European Union.
1n 2011, Eimear completed a PhD in Government from University College Cork. Her research analysed the constituency orientation of parliamentarians in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Throughout her PhD, she tutored politics modules to UCC undergraduates and coordinated a Certificate Course on Irish Politics for mature students. She was also Data Editor of the Irish Political Studies Journal for a number of years.
A graduate of both the University of Limerick and University College Cork, Eimear has a Degree in History and Politics, an MBS in Government and a PhD in Government.
